JYP Entertainment has announced the establishment of a new subsidiary, Innit Entertainment, which aims to bolster the company’s capabilities across various facets of the entertainment industry.

The new subsidiary, named after a contraction of the English phrase “isn’t it,” is set to diversify JYP Entertainment’s portfolio by focusing on a broad range of music genres including pop, ballad, trot, and R&B. Innit Entertainment plans to develop solo artists, duos, and actors, leveraging JYP’s extensive expertise in training and management.

This move is part of JYP Entertainment’s broader strategy to enhance its competitive edge and solidify its standing in the highly competitive entertainment sector. By launching Innit, the company aims to tap into new market opportunities and expand its influence beyond its current scope.

Innit Entertainment’s inaugural project will be centered around managing talents discovered through "Tantara," the new variety show created by JYP Entertainment founder Park Jin-young and aired on KBS. This project will serve as a key platform for showcasing the subsidiary’s new talents.

The leadership of Innit Entertainment will be entrusted to seasoned JYP executives Park Nam-yong and Yoon Jae-ho. Park Nam-yong brings over two decades of experience in directing performances and choreography for JYP artists. Meanwhile, Yoon Jae-ho has accumulated 19 years of experience at JYP, specializing in marketing, A&R, and artist development. Their combined expertise is expected to drive Innit Entertainment’s success and contribute to its ambitious goals.
