Two climate activists were sentenced to prison for throwing tomato soup at Van Gogh's 'Sunflowers'.

These activists, members of the group 'Just Stop Oil', carried out the action to highlight the use of fossil fuels and the government's lack of response to climate change.

While Van Gogh's painting itself was not damaged, the antique frame was harmed.

The activists are now prohibited from visiting galleries and museums and are not allowed to carry adhesives in public places.
