NCT Wish has set a new milestone with their second single, "Songbird," selling over 530,000 copies in its debut week, according to a statement by their label SM Entertainment on Monday.
The single, which garnered 630,000 pre-orders in Japan and Korea combined, marks a significant achievement for the youngest subunit of NCT. Their debut single, "Wish," released in March, sold approximately 280,000 units and debuted at the top of Oricon's daily single ranking and iTunes Top Albums charts in multiple regions, alongside dominating major music charts in Korea.
The six-member rookie group launched "Songbird" with Japanese and Korean versions on June 26 and July 1 respectively, actively promoting the release through various music and entertainment programs in both countries.
