YG Entertainment has announced that all four members of the globally acclaimed K-pop group Blackpink will reunite for a special event marking their eighth debut anniversary.
The group will attend the red carpet event for their concert film, “Blackpink World Tour [Born Pink] in Cinemas,” which will be held on August 9 at Times Square, Seoul. This will be the first time the members have gathered together in 11 months, where they will participate in a photo session and engage with fans and reporters.
The film, capturing the final performance of Blackpink’s “Born Pink” world tour at the Gocheok Sky Dome in Seoul in September 2023, is set to be released on July 31. This film provides an exclusive look at their world tour finale and aims to offer fans a chance to relive the excitement of their live performances.
The pink carpet event will follow a private fan meet-and-greet on August 8, held to celebrate the group’s eighth anniversary since their debut. This fan event is expected to be an intimate occasion, giving fans a special opportunity to connect with the members ahead of the film’s premiere.
The movie will be released in theaters across 110 countries, reflecting the global reach and impact of Blackpink’s music and performances.
