The Jeonju edition of the 2026 Korea Bambam Festa will take place at Deokjin Park in Jeonju, North Jeolla Province, from 6 to 10 p.m. on Sept. 5.
Organised by the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism and the Korea Tourism Organization, the event is hosted locally by Jeonju City. It forms part of the second season of a national program connecting cultural and tourism activities across 10 designated night-tourism cities.
The main program is a candlelight concert staged within the park. The Breicher Quartet will perform a roughly 60-minute program under an installation of candle-like lights.
The repertoire includes Elton John’s “Can You Feel the Love Tonight,” Tchaikovsky’s “Autumn Song,” Yoo Jae-ha’s “My Reflection in My Heart” and “This Land” from the film “The Lion King.”
Outdoor seating areas furnished with beanbags, camping chairs and lighting will be installed throughout the park. A mobile library and book market will provide spaces for visitors to read and browse books.
The Yoonseul Market will feature crafts and other goods presented by Jeonju-based creators and vendors. Busking performances are also scheduled before the main concert.
Additional activities include free hanbok rentals and a glow-in-the-dark dancheong drawing program based on the decorative patterns used in traditional Korean architecture.
The second Korea Bambam Festa season began in Busan in July and has since visited Tongyeong and Gangneung. Following Jeonju, the program will continue in Gongju, Daejeon, Incheon, Yeosu, Jinju and Seongju through Oct. 10.
