Monsta X Set for U.S. Comeback with New Album “Unfold”

K-pop boy band Monsta X is set to return to the U.S. market with a new release next week, its agency announced Tuesday, signaling the group’s renewed push into the global music scene.

The upcoming album, Unfold, scheduled for release on April 3, marks the group’s third full-length project aimed at the United States. It is also their first such release since The Dreaming in December 2021, highlighting a significant gap that underscores both anticipation and strategic timing in their international activities.

According to Starship Entertainment, the album will feature 10 tracks, including prereleased songs “Growing Pains” and “Baby Blue.” Additional tracks include “Heal,” “This!,” “Before You Met Me,” “Glass Half Empty,” and “Main Attraction,” as revealed through the agency’s official social media channels.

Debuting in May 2015, Monsta X has steadily built a presence in the global market, particularly in North America. Their first English-language album, All About Luv, achieved notable commercial success, reaching No. 5 on the Billboard 200 chart, a milestone that positioned the group among leading K-pop acts in the U.S.

The new release comes as the six-member group continues its world tour, The X: Nexus, which began in Seoul in January. Following the opening leg, the group is currently performing across Asia, with expectations that the upcoming album will further expand its global reach.

With Unfold, Monsta X not only resumes its engagement with the U.S. market but also tests the evolving dynamics of K-pop’s international strategy—where language, distribution, and touring intersect to shape long-term global positioning.
