Scheduled to commence on April 7 in Sapporo, the audition will take place in seven major Japanese cities, including Nagoya, Fukuoka, Osaka, Tokyo, Sendai, and Okinawa. Eligibility spans from April 2, 2003, to April 1, 2013, with applications open to individuals of any gender or nationality. Participation is restricted to individuals, and the audition process will include both online video screening and on-site evaluations.

Applicants who pass the initial screening will undergo additional assessments, with successful candidates receiving individual notifications regarding subsequent performances. While participants from outside Japan are welcome to apply, they must be present in Japan after successfully clearing the second stage. Detailed information is available on YG's official audition website.

In parallel, YG has been conducting auditions in Korea as a precursor to the overseas audition. The 2024 YG National Audition Tour, which commenced on January 13, is slated to conclude after nine auditions in eight cities by Sunday.
