Korean sculptor Sohn Jong Jun is holding a solo exhibition, Defensive Measure & UNDER PRESSURE, in Jongno-gu, Seoul.
Running until March 30, the exhibition showcases his signature works—armor-like sculptures made of metal.
These pieces visually express the pressures imposed by modern society and the individual's ongoing efforts to defend themselves.
Armor, which simultaneously serves as self-protection and a boundary between the self and society, reflects the dualistic nature of modern life.
Visitors are invited to reinterpret the human experiences embedded in the sharp and cold metallic works from their perspectives.
