Christian Fridelance, a passionate artist who has been drawing since childhood, is currently presenting his latest exhibition titled 'D'un Réel vers une Abstraction' (From Reality to Abstraction) at La Loge Tattoo gallery in Besançon. The exhibition showcases the artist's unique journey from representational art toward abstraction while maintaining emotional depth and connection to his subjects.

Fridelance's artistic foundation was established during his studies at the Fine Arts school in Besançon, where he encountered Jean Ricardon (1924-2018), a professor and artist whose influence continues to shape his creative process today. This mentorship proved pivotal in developing Fridelance's distinctive artistic vision and approach to contemporary art.

The artist describes his work as pursuing a 'quest for sobriety in a singular production leading to abstraction without ever forgetting the subject.' Rather than focusing on the representation of concrete figures, Fridelance concentrates on expressing emotions through forms, colors, and textures. This approach allows viewers to experience art on a more visceral and emotional level, transcending traditional representational boundaries.

The exhibition runs throughout the month of October, from the 1st to the 31st, and is open daily starting at 3:00 PM, except on Sundays. Art enthusiasts will have the unique opportunity to meet the artist in person on Thursdays, Fridays, and Saturdays from 3:00 PM to 7:30 PM, or by appointment. For scheduling private viewings or additional information, visitors can contact the gallery at 07 81 38 07 14. The exhibition is hosted at Galerie La Loge Tattoo shop, located at 10 rue Bersot in Besançon.
