Starship Entertainment revealed on Thursday that Seola, a member of the girl group WJSN, will launch her solo career with the release of her debut single "Inside Out" on January 23. This marks Seola's first solo release in eight years since her debut with WJSN in 2016.

Seola, known as the main vocalist of WJSN, has also contributed as a songwriter and composer for the group's tracks, including "New ME" from the ninth EP "Unnatural" (2021) and "Our Garden" from the eighth EP "Neverland" (2020). Additionally, she was part of WJSN's second subunit, WJSN The Black, alongside members Bona, Exy, and Eunseo. The subunit released its debut single "My Attitude" in May 2021.
Currently, Seola is hosting KBS Cool FM's "StationZ," a radio show that has been airing every Tuesday since April 2023.
