The 11th edition of the Rencontres Photographiques du 10e (10th Arrondissement Photography Festival) will take place from October 2 to November 16, 2025, throughout Paris's 10th arrondissement. This prestigious biennial event, which has been showcasing emerging and professional photographers since its inception in 2005, will officially open with a vernissage reception on Thursday, October 2.

Established as a joint initiative between the 10th Arrondissement City Hall and the Château d'Eau Library, the festival has evolved into a major cultural event that presents exhibitions by both emerging and established photographers across various venues throughout the district. The event transforms the entire arrondissement into an open-air gallery, utilizing public spaces from the City Hall to garden gates to make art accessible to all residents and visitors.

The month-long festival offers much more than traditional exhibitions, featuring a comprehensive program of cultural activities including conferences, film screenings, workshops, and evening events that run throughout the entire duration of the biennial. This approach reflects the festival's core mission of making photography and visual arts accessible to everyone while encouraging diverse perspectives and artistic dialogue among participants and viewers.

For the fifth consecutive edition, the 10th Arrondissement City Hall has entrusted the artistic direction and organization of the biennial to Fetart, a creative collective that has been instrumental in shaping the festival's recent success. Under Fetart's guidance, the festival continues to prioritize outdoor exhibitions and public space installations, reinforcing its commitment to democratizing access to the eighth art form.

This year's edition will feature eight selected artists who have been chosen as laureates for the 2025 festival. The distinguished group includes Guillaume Blot, Mahka Eslami, Chia Huang, Elsa Leydier, Nathyfa Michel, Chloé Nicosia, Maxime Riché, and Emeline Sauser, representing a diverse range of photographic styles and artistic approaches that will be showcased throughout the arrondissement during the six-week celebration.
