Completed in 2024, this 1,880 square foot residence sits gracefully at the natural high point of a two-acre rubber plantation, occupying an untouched clearing at the heart of the property. The architects strategically positioned the house to capture optimal light, natural ventilation, and panoramic views of the surrounding groves while ensuring the structure doesn't dominate its environment. Instead of imposing itself upon the landscape, the dwelling settles into it like what the architects describe as "a soft pause within the landscape."
The house features an innovative semi-circular floor plan that gently follows the natural contours of the land. This radial design philosophy dissolves the rigidity of conventional linear planning, with curved walls that guide movement naturally throughout the space.
