Stray Kids and TXT Among Winners at Asia Star Entertainer Awards 2024

At the Asia Star Entertainer Awards 2024 held at the K-Arena Yokohama in Japan on Wednesday, K-pop boy group Stray Kids secured the grand prize, as well as the album of the year award for their third LP "5-Star" and the best group award. Member Lee Know expressed gratitude and hinted at a forthcoming release during their acceptance speech.

TXT emerged as the most awarded K-pop group, clinching four awards including artist of the year, the platinum award, global K-pop leader, and best performance (group). The members expressed their appreciation for the support of their fandom, MOA, and looked forward to their upcoming dome tour in Japan in May.

The award for best new artist was bestowed upon the rookies NCT Wish, TWS, and Zerobaseone. NCT Wish expressed gratitude to their production team, SM staff, producer BoA, and their fans, while TWS thanked their fandom, 42, for their support since debut.

Zerobaseone made history by selling over 2 million copies of their debut album, "Youth in the Shade," becoming the first K-pop act to achieve this milestone on the day of their debut.
