Label YG Entertainment announced on Thursday that Babymonster's music video for "Sheesh" has reached 100 million views on YouTube. The milestone was achieved in approximately 10 days, surpassing the group's previous record set by the music video for their debut single "Batter Up," which took 18 days to reach the same milestone.
Babymonster, consisting of seven members, released their debut EP titled "Babymons7er" on April 1. The mini album achieved significant success, topping the iTunes Top Albums chart in six regions and selling over 400,000 copies in its first week. Notably, this sales figure sets a new record for a debut album from a K-pop girl group.
A pop-up store in Seoul, dedicated to celebrating the release of "Babymons7er," attracted over 10,000 visitors within 10 days of its opening, indicating the group's growing popularity and fanbase.
Looking ahead, Babymonster is scheduled to embark on a tour across five cities in Asia next month, including Tokyo, Jakarta, Singapore, Taipei, and Bangkok, for fan meetups, further expanding their reach and engagement with audiences across the region.
