Babymonster, the K-pop girl group under YG Entertainment, has sparked fan excitement with a cryptic announcement posted by the agency on Monday. The image, designed like an invitation, stated “RSVP by July 1st, 2024,” without providing further details. Last month, YG’s head producer Yang Hyunsuk indicated that the group would release a B-side track ahead of their first full album, set to debut between September and October.

Babymonster, consisting of seven members, released their debut extended play “Babymons7er” in April. They are currently promoting the follow-up single “Like That.” The EP has sold over 500,000 copies, and the lead single “Sheesh” entered Spotify’s Daily Top Songs global chart at No. 69.

The group is also conducting a fan meeting tour across six Asian cities. The tour is set to continue in Taipei next week and will conclude in Kobe, Japan, next month.
