The prestigious Condé School of Applied Arts has established its ninth campus in Lille, Northern France, choosing to locate within the heart of Euratechnologies, one of Europe's largest startup incubators. Since September 2025, the first cohort of students has begun studying in what the school describes as "a unique space dedicated to creativity, experimentation, and innovation."
By settling in this dynamic district, the school aims to "offer students a stimulating environment in direct connection with companies and innovation stakeholders." Tess Leblond, director of the Condé Lille campus, explained the strategic decision: "We want our students to learn through contact with businesses, in an environment that stimulates creativity and innovation. Lille, with its cultural and economic dynamism, is an ideal ground for training the designers and illustrators of tomorrow."
The new campus, located at 58 Marie-Thérèse Vicot Lhermitte Avenue in Lille, offers both Bachelor's and Master's degree programs available through traditional full-time study or work-study arrangements. The academic programs cover four key areas: product design, space design, graphic design, and fashion design. The facility shares its premises with the Higher School of Advertising (ESP), creating a collaborative educational environment.
Students have access to comprehensive facilities including 15 classrooms, a photography studio, a sound and podcast studio, and a fashion and sewing workshop. The campus also features collaborative spaces and relaxation areas specifically designed to encourage experimentation and teamwork. Throughout the academic year, the school plans to host conferences, workshops, and professional networking events with local creators, startups, and established businesses.
Among the public events scheduled, "Epic Fail" will take place on Thursday, December 11, 2025. This unique event features professionals and alumni sharing their setbacks and successes, discussing how they managed to bounce back from unexpected challenges in their creative careers. The campus will also hold several open house events on November 15, December 6, January 31, and March 21, providing opportunities for prospective students to meet the teaching staff, explore the campus facilities, and interact with current students about their projects and achievements.
More information about the institution is available on the school's website at ecoles-conde.com. The establishment of this campus represents Condé's commitment to providing cutting-edge education in applied arts while fostering direct connections between students and the rapidly evolving creative industry landscape.
