The Korean Cultural Center in Sweden will showcase contemporary Korean craftsmanship through a major exhibition titled "Our Home: Korean Craft Archive 2025" as part of the 2025 Stockholm Craft Week. The exhibition has been selected as the Guest Country Special Exhibition for Sweden's largest craft festival, highlighting the diverse and innovative world of modern Korean craft arts.

The comprehensive exhibition will feature works from 21 accomplished Korean craft artists who are currently active across multiple countries, including Korea, Sweden, the Netherlands, and other international locations. These artists will present their creations across a wide range of media, encompassing furniture design, decorative objects, textiles, metalwork, and ceramics. The exhibition is designed to allow visitors to explore the space freely and experience the artworks from various perspectives, creating an immersive cultural experience.

The exhibition will run for over two months, opening on October 1, 2025 (Wednesday) and continuing through December 10, 2025 (Wednesday). It will be housed in the Exhibition Hall on the first floor of the Korean Cultural Center in Sweden, located in Stockholm. The event is being jointly organized by the Korean Cultural Center in Sweden in partnership with Stockholm Craft Week.

A special opening reception is scheduled for October 2, 2025 (Thursday) at 5:30 PM in the Exhibition Hall ON at the Korean Cultural Center. The opening ceremony will feature traditional Korean tea service and include personal introductions and presentations by three participating artists who are based in Stockholm: Bosong Kang, Dain Lee, and Bogil Lee. This will provide attendees with direct insights into the artists' creative processes and cultural perspectives.

The complete roster of 21 participating artists represents a diverse cross-section of contemporary Korean craft practitioners. The featured artists include Seongil Choi, Byungju Cho, Hyunjee Jung, Yuri Jung, Heami Lee, Yoonjeong Lee, Dain Lee, Bogil Lee, Kwangho Lee, Namgwon Lyu, Hyunseok Sim, Studio Word (a collaborative team consisting of Kyuhyung Cho and Jungyu Choi), Jeonghwa Seo, Wonmin Park, Yeunhee Ryu, Hyunsung Kim, Junsu Kim, Nuri Kim, Chulan Kwak, Kappao Studio, and Bosong Kang.

This exhibition represents a significant cultural exchange opportunity, demonstrating how Korean traditional craft techniques have evolved and adapted in contemporary international contexts.
