In a recent announcement, Pledis Entertainment, the esteemed label representing K-pop sensation Seventeen, revealed plans to launch a new boy band named TWS on January 22, 2024. The upcoming group, comprised of six members, is set to make its debut with the release of a predebut single, "Oh Mymy: 7s," on Tuesday, which will be part of their debut EP titled "Sparkling Blue."

Prior to the official debut, TWS is scheduled to release various video content, including a clip detailing the story behind the debut, a performance clip of the predebut single, and individual trailers for each member of the group. Pledis Entertainment, a label under K-pop powerhouse Hybe, introduces TWS as its first group in 2024.
The name "TWS" is reported to stand for "Twenty-Four Seven With Us," reflecting the group's aspiration to be a constant presence in the lives of listeners, acting as friends who make daily life special. In a bid to promote their debut, TWS will open a pop-up store in Seoul, showcasing their pictures from January 18 to January 31, 2024.
