Following this exhilarating concert series, Young K's much-anticipated first solo studio album, "Letters with notes," is set to make its debut on September 4, marking a significant milestone in his solo career.
The impending comeback comes after a five-month hiatus, during which Young K returned in April from his service in the Korean Augmentation Troops to the US Army. He dutifully commenced his mandatory military service in October 2021, demonstrating his commitment to both his music career and national duty.
With his captivating presence and multifaceted talents, Young K initially gained prominence as a bassist and vocalist for Day6, entering the music scene in September 2015. His journey with the band has encompassed two world tours, gracing stages with over 100 electrifying live concerts.
Notably, Young K's creative prowess extends beyond performing, as he is an accomplished composer and lyricist. His contributions have yielded chart-topping singles for Day6, including hits like "You Were Beautiful," "Time of Our Life," and "Zombie."
The artist transitioned into his solo journey with his maiden EP "Eternal," released in September 2021. As his solo career continues to flourish, the upcoming album promises a vibrant collection of musical expressions.
As a prelude to the album's official release, fans can anticipate the unveiling of a track along with its accompanying music video on August 25, offering a tantalizing glimpse into Young K's evolving musical narrative.
