Johnny, a prominent member of the internationally acclaimed boy band NCT, will temporarily halt all activities following collarbone fractures sustained during a content shoot, as confirmed by SM Entertainment, his agency, on Monday.

The incident occurred on Saturday evening when Johnny accidentally collided with a studio door. As a precautionary measure, he was immediately taken to a hospital for medical assessment and treatment, according to the agency's statement.

In a press release issued on Monday evening, SM Entertainment revealed, "Johnny has unfortunately fractured his clavicle, and the medical team has advised him to use a brace to immobilize the injured area and minimize movement until a full recovery is achieved."

Consequently, Johnny will be putting all his schedules on hold to prioritize proper treatment and recovery. The agency assured fans that they would announce the resumption of his activities at a later date.

In concluding their statement, SM Entertainment expressed their sincere apologies to the dedicated fans of the boy band for any inconvenience caused by the unforeseen circumstances.

Johnny, whose birth name is John Jeon Suh, is a Korean American member of the immensely popular boy band NCT. He made his debut as part of the sub-group NCT 127 on January 5, 2017, during the release of their second EP, "NCT #127 Limitless." Subsequently, he also debuted in the sub-unit NCT U on November 12, 2020, through their second full-length album, "NCT Resonance Pt.1."

While Johnny takes time to recover, the upcoming offline stadium tour featuring all three sub-groups of NCT—NCT 127, NCT Dream, and WayV—will proceed as planned. This monumental tour will mark the first time these sub-groups come together for performances in Korea and Japan. Notable venues on the tour include Incheon Munhak Stadium in Incheon on August 26, Yanmar Stadium Nagai in Osaka on September 9 and 10, and Ajinomoto Stadium in Tokyo on September 16 and 17.
