In an electrifying finale on Thursday night, MBC's highly anticipated boy band audition program, "Fantasy Boys," revealed its final lineup of 12 talented members who will debut as "Fantasy Boys."

The final 12 members, namely Yu Jun-won, Kim Gyu-rae, Hong Sung-min, Oh Hyeon-tae, Lee Han-bin, Ling Qi, Kang Min-seo, Hikari, K-Soul, Kim Woo-seok, Hikaru, and Kaedan, were unveiled in ascending order based on their rankings. These trainees emerged victorious through a rigorous selection process, combining benefit points, on-site votes, global online votes, special offline votes, and live voting scores.

Benefit points, awarded to trainees who excelled in previous competitions within the program, played a significant role in determining the final 12. Yu Jun-won secured the top spot with an impressive 206,124.1 points, closely followed by Kim Gyu-rae and Hong Sung-min, who scored 193,112.6 and 193,049.5 points, respectively.

While the official debut date for "Fantasy Boys" remains undisclosed, the boy band will be under the management of Pocketdol Studio, an esteemed entertainment agency housing prominent artists such as trot singer Song Ga-in and boy band BAE173.

This gripping audition program was a collaborative effort between MBC, Phunky Studio, Naver, Pocketdol Studio, and other industry stakeholders. "Fantasy Boys" follows the success of MBC's previous girl group audition program, "My Teenage Girls," which saw the debut of the seven-member girl group CLASS:y in May 2022.
