In a notable achievement, ZeroBaseOne, a newly established nine-member K-pop band, marked a significant milestone with their debut EP "Youth in the Shade," surpassing 2.03 million copies in sales as of September. This accomplishment marked the first time a debut album in the K-pop industry has reached the 2-million mark in sales. Furthermore, the EP secured the distinction of being the first million-seller from a debuting musician in Korea, achieving this feat on its release day in July.
The band is swiftly making its mark in the industry, garnering recognition with two rookie awards within a span of three months since their inception. In August, they successfully hosted their inaugural fan concert in Seoul, attracting an impressive audience of approximately 18,000 attendees. Looking ahead, the group is gearing up for the release of their second EP titled "Melting Point," scheduled to launch on November 6.
Adding to their growing accomplishments, ZeroBaseOne recently ventured to Paris to participate in a Korean television music chart show, solidifying their presence on the international stage.
