YG Entertainment Announces Debut of Six-Member Girl Group, Babymonster

According to a recent report from local media, YG Entertainment has officially confirmed the formation of their upcoming girl group, Babymonster, consisting of six members. The members are identified as Ruka, Pharita, Asa, Haram, Rora, and Chiquita. The entertainment company disclosed that the group is slated to release a new song on Nov. 27.

Ahyeon, initially part of the group's lineup, is currently on a hiatus from preparations due to health reasons, as stated by the management firm. YG Entertainment began unveiling the group's members individually on Monday, commencing with the introduction of the youngest member, Chiquita, followed by Asa. Notably, the group has already completed the shooting of the music video for their debut single, described as a robust hip-hop track.

Babymonster marks YG Entertainment's first introduction of a girl group since the debut of Blackpink.
