After an enduring four-year hiatus from solo concerts, acclaimed singer-songwriter duo AKMU is set to grace the stage once again with "AKMUTOPIA," a concert extravaganza that promises to transport fans into a utopian world of their own creation. The event will span three days, from November 24 to 26, held at the Grand Peace Palace, situated in the heart of Kyung Hee University in Dongdaemun District, eastern Seoul.

In a statement released by YG Entertainment, the concert's name, "AKMUTOPIA," was described as a fusion of AKMU and utopia, symbolizing the distinct world that revolves solely around AKMU and the creative universe that only they can construct. The performance is expected to encapsulate AKMU's musical journey, showcasing their timeless tracks and evolving artistic narrative.

Ticket prices for this highly anticipated event are set at 154,000 Korean Won ($116) for VIP seats, followed by R-seats at 132,000 Korean Won and S-seats at 110,000 Korean Won. Ticket sales will be divided into two phases, with Interpark Ticket opening sales on September 21, followed by Ticketlink on September 22.

AKMU's musical odyssey began in 2012 with the duo sharing their self-produced tracks and cover videos online. Their breakthrough came in 2013 when they triumphed in SBS's acclaimed audition program "K-Pop Star 2." Subsequently signing exclusive contracts with YG Entertainment, they launched their first full-length album "PLAY" in 2014, marking the beginning of their musical legacy. Renowned for their chart-topping hits, including "200%" (2014), "RE-BYE" (2016), "Last Goodbye" (2017), and "Dinosaur" (2017), AKMU has become a fixture in the K-pop scene.

Adding to their illustrious discography, AKMU recently released their fourth single, "Love Lee," on August 21, a highly anticipated offering that followed their previous collaboration album "Next Episode" from 2021. The announcement of the "AKMUTOPIA" concert has ignited excitement and anticipation among fans, eagerly awaiting the return of this dynamic duo to the solo stage after an extended hiatus.
