In an eagerly awaited development for fans, South Korean powerhouse Red Velvet is set to unveil their third studio album this November, as confirmed by label SM Entertainment following a local media report on Monday.

This upcoming LP, the group's first in approximately six years since the release of "Perfect Velvet," follows the success of their EP "The ReVe Festival 2022: Birthday" released just a year ago. Notably, the EP achieved a significant milestone by topping the iTunes top albums chart in an impressive 47 regions and securing its position as Red Velvet's maiden million-selling album.

As the quintet recently commemorated the ninth anniversary of their debut, concerns have been raised among fans regarding contract renewals for all members except Seulgi with the management firm. Despite these uncertainties, Red Velvet remains a force to be reckoned with, showcasing their musical prowess and solidifying their mark in the industry.

Earlier this year, the group captivated audiences with their fourth standalone concert in Seoul, subsequently embarking on a tour across Asia and Europe. Their European tour marked a historic milestone as they enthralled audiences in prominent cities like Paris, Berlin, Amsterdam, and London, further affirming their global appeal and undeniable talent on the international stage.
