Korea's famous galleries will hold 'the late-night opening event' that opens gallery until midnight for a day during the Frieze Seoul period.   

This event is one of ‘Frieze week’ programs. ‘Frieze week’ is going to be held from August 29 to September 5. During the period, expanded programs of Frieze Seoul will take place. Visitors who visit the art fair in Seoul can enjoy various cultural programs, events and exhibitions across the city through this ‘Frieze week’.   

The late-night openings will be centered in Hannam-dong and Samcheong-dong, which are two of the most important art gallery districts. This is an event for visitors who have difficulty visiting the gallery during the day.   

On Thursday, September 1, 'Hannam Night' will open. Seven galleries in the Hannam district, such as Baton, Lehmann Maupin, P21, Pace Gallery, Thaddaeus Ropac, Various Small Fires(VSF), and Whistle, will stay open late for visitors. 'Samcheong Night', on Friday, September 2. Some featuring galleries including Hakgojae Gallery, Gallery Hyundai, Kukje Gallery, ONE AND J., Perrotin, and PKM Gallery, among others located in Samcheoung district, will participate in this late-night opening event.   

Additionally, various programs such as ‘Frieze flim’, ‘talk program’ will be held in this ‘Frieze week'. Information related to programs will be introduced on the official website and SNS and the magazine about Frieze week will be distributed onsite.
