Several acclaimed female solo artists are gearing up to captivate K-pop enthusiasts with their highly anticipated returns and debuts in January.

Choi Ye-na (Jan. 15):

Formerly of the project group IZ*ONE, Choi Ye-na is making a comeback after a seven-month hiatus.
Yuehua Entertainment, Choi's agency, announces her third mini-album, "GOOD MORNING," emphasizing a "more mature musicality" and "authentic inner self."
The title track is described as a blend of optimistic lyrics and band sounds, symbolizing the emergence of brightness after dark moments. Choi actively participated in composing the track.
Controversy surrounded her previous "HATE XX" album, raising anticipation for her ability to overcome past challenges with this new release.

Lee Hi (Jan. 16):

Lee Hi, an acclaimed singer, is set to release her latest single, "My Beloved," on Jan. 16, following a recent collaboration with singer Sung Si-kyung on "Alley."
AOMG, Lee's agency, characterizes the song as showcasing her "simple yet lyrical vocals" and continuing the thematic connection with the previous ballad, "Alley."
"Alley" marked Lee's return after a two-year hiatus, indicating an active future in the industry.

MAMAMOO's Solar (Jan. 18):

Solar, a member of K-pop girl group MAMAMOO, is reviving her "Solar Emotion" series after a break of over five years.
"Solar Emotion Part.7" is set for release on Jan. 18, featuring her emotional version of Kim Kwang-seok's 1991 song "Love Has Gone."
MAMAMOO, known for their vocal prowess, has garnered acclaim since their debut in 2014.

WJSN's Seola (Jan. 23):

WJSN member Seola, after over eight years since her debut, will release her solo debut single, "INSIDE OUT," on Jan. 23.
This marks Seola as the first WJSN member to embark on a solo venture, showcasing her versatility beyond group activities.
Seola's previous contributions include hosting KBS Radio Cool FM's "STATION Z" for eight months from April to December 2023.
