In recent days, health concerns have disrupted the promotional activities of (G)I-dle, the popular South Korean girl group, as they released their second studio album, "2." Shuhua, a member of the group, has taken a break from group activities due to health issues, as confirmed by Cube Entertainment.

Cube Entertainment announced Shuhua's health struggles through the fan community platform Weverse. The agency stated that Shuhua had not been feeling well since Friday and would suspend all planned schedules. This included missing a fan signing event and a video call event, as well as sitting out of a performance on MBC's music show "Music Core."

This health setback follows a recent cancellation of a press conference for (G)I-dle's comeback, attributed to illnesses affecting members Minnie and Yuqi. Minnie also faced health difficulties during the Jingle Ball Tour in the US, exiting mid-performance on December 12. Shuhua had previously taken time off on December 15 after testing positive for influenza A.

Fans expressed concern for Shuhua's well-being, commenting on Weverse about her visible discomfort during performances. Despite these health challenges, (G)I-dle's second studio album, "2," has achieved considerable success, securing the No.1 spot on the iTunes top albums chart in 24 regions and Apple Music’s top albums chart in eight regions.

The album garnered over 1.8 million pre-orders, marking it as (G)I-dle's second million-selling album after their sixth EP, "I Feel," released the previous year. Cube Entertainment expressed gratitude for understanding and pledged efforts toward the artists' recovery.
