Praveen Correa, a renowned photographer from Udupi, has achieved significant recognition in the photography world by winning the prestigious Spectrum National Certificate Awards for two of his exceptional photographs. This latest achievement marks another milestone in his distinguished career spanning over two decades.
Correa's photograph titled "Unfinished Race" earned him a Club Award (Medal) in the open color category, demonstrating his mastery of color composition and storytelling through visual imagery. His second winning photograph, "Soote Daara," received the jury choice award, highlighting the artistic merit and technical excellence that caught the attention of the competition's expert panel.
The Spectrum National Certificate Award represents another significant feather in Praveen Correa's cap, adding to his growing list of accolades in the photography field. With more than 21 years of extensive experience in the industry, Correa has established himself as a creative force known for his innovative photographic talent and artistic vision.
Correa operates as the proprietor of Sany Digital Studio, which has locations in both Kalamdy and Udupi, serving the local community's photography needs. Beyond his commercial success, he maintains an active role in various socially oriented organizations, demonstrating his commitment to community involvement and social causes.
Currently, Correa serves as the secretary of the South Canara Photographers Association, Udupi zone, where he contributes his expertise and leadership to support fellow photographers in the region.
