A striking single-family residence has emerged in the suburbs of Kaunas, Lithuania, establishing a new benchmark for contemporary residential architecture within the exclusive NOA (Nature of Architecture) quarter. Designed by Architectural Bureau G.Natkevicius & Partners and completed in 2024, this 298-square-meter home demonstrates how bold architectural vision can be sensitively integrated into a meticulously crafted natural environment.
The house is strategically positioned on the banks of a tranquil pond within the NOA quarter, where the harmony between nature and contemporary architecture serves as the fundamental design principle rather than merely an aspiration. Lead architects E. Samuolis, A. Rimšelis, and G. Natkevičius collaborated to create a residence that respects its exclusive surroundings while making a distinctive architectural statement. The project team included interior architect M. Jaruševičius, project managers M. Jucius and T. Jūras, and structural engineers M. Kasiulevičius and J. Kanapienienė.
