Monet Inside, an exhibition reinterpreting Claude Monet's work as media art, will be held.

Claude Monet was a French Impressionist painter, one of the major painters who founded the Impression style. In his work, 'Impression, soleil levant', the term impressionism first came into being, and the artist adhered to the principle that light is color.

Located in Lotte Department Store's Myeong-dong branch where the exhibition is held, GROUNDSEESAW is a gallery that mainly exhibits media artworks, and this exhibition will be conducted in a way that introduces Monet's chronicle written from the perspective of Paul Durand Ruel, who was Monet's friend.

Visitors will vividly witness Monet's process of creating the identity of his work through Paul's perspective. Visitors can experience the artist's life in three dimensions, from the artist and works that inspired Monet to the woman he loved, to various situations and death.

In this exhibition, Monet's famous paintings are largely arranged in a large space to form a scene with narration. Accordingly, visitors feel as if the work is alive, so they can be more immersed in the work.
