Netflix confirmed on Tuesday that the upcoming dystopian action film, "Badland Hunters," featuring Don Lee, is scheduled for release on January 26. Directed by Heo Myeong-haeng, the film is set in a post-apocalyptic wasteland where the remnants of civilization have crumbled, leaving raw power as the dominant force. The narrative follows a group of individuals navigating the challenges of survival in this desolate backdrop.

Don Lee portrays Nam-sam, an unwavering wasteland hunter armed with a formidable machete. Lee Jun-young takes on the role of Choi Ji-wan, Nam-sam's trusted partner, while Lee Hee-jun portrays a doctor, and Roh Jeong-eui embodies Suna, a girl accompanying Nam-sam.
This marks Heo's directorial debut, previously recognized as the martial arts director for "The Outlaws" (2017) franchise. Additionally, Heo is set to direct the fourth installment in the franchise, titled "The Roundup: No Way Out," anticipated to hit theaters in the first half of this year.
