Actor Kim Ji-hoon is slated to enter Hollywood with a role in the forthcoming Amazon Prime Video series "Butterfly," according to his agency, Big Picture Entertainment, on Friday.
The series, based on a graphic novel of the same name, centers around the character David Jung, a former CIA agent portrayed by Korean American actor Daniel Dae Kim. Kim Ji-hoon's role in the series is yet to be specified.
"Butterfly" follows the gripping narrative of Jung, whose life takes a tumultuous turn following a significant decision, and Rebecca, an agent tasked with eliminating him, played by Reina Hardesty.
Daniel Dae Kim, in addition to starring in the series, serves as both lead actor and producer, garnering considerable attention for the project.
Kim Ji-hoon, known for his appearances in various popular TV dramas and films since his debut in 2002, including "Now, We Are Breaking Up" and "Money Heist: Korea – Joint Economic Area," is expected to expand his presence and influence as an actor through his venture into Hollywood with "Butterfly."
