Renowned South Korean artist G-Dragon, also known as Kwon Ji-yong, at the age of 35, is currently the subject of a police investigation regarding potential violations of the Narcotics Control Act, as reported by Incheon Metropolitan Police.

Authorities have reportedly booked G-Dragon for alleged drug use, although he is not currently detained. In response to this investigation, police have explicitly denied any connection to a separate case involving Lee Sun-kyun, who is known for his role in the Oscar-winning film "Parasite."

G-Dragon's record label has stated that it possesses no information regarding the ongoing case.

This is not the artist's first brush with drug-related allegations. In 2011, G-Dragon admitted to using marijuana at a club in Japan, citing his unawareness of the substance he had accepted. In that previous case, prosecutors ultimately dropped the charges.
