Netflix has confirmed the release dates for its highly anticipated Korean original series, "Gyeongseong Creature." The streaming giant revealed that the first seven episodes of the first season will premiere on Dec. 22, followed by the second part containing episodes 8 to 10 on Jan. 5. The announcement was accompanied by the unveiling of a teaser poster and trailer.

Directed by Jung Dong-yoon, known for the 2019 hit sports series "Hot Stove League" and the 2014 drama "What Happens to My Family?," the 10-part horror action series is set against the backdrop of 1945. The storyline revolves around Jang Tae-sang (Park Seo-joon), a prosperous businessman known for his humor and keen insights, and Yoon Chae-ok (Han So-hee), a woman skilled in finding missing persons. Their characters navigate the challenges of a grim era as they uncover the mysteries of a serial murderer, facing shocking revelations and the struggle for survival.
Scripted by Kang Eun-kyung, renowned for the 2016 medical series "Dr. Romantic," the series promises a gripping narrative as it unfolds the tale of two individuals combating monsters in the historical setting of Gyeongseong, the former Japanese-era name for Seoul.
