Ryu portrayed Jang Ju-won, a character gifted with healing abilities and superhuman strength, now managing a fried chicken shop after retiring from the National Intelligence Service (NIS). Exploring themes of love and loss, Ryu aimed to convey the profound impact of attention and love in one's life, drawing the audience into a heartfelt journey.
The actor recalled initial concerns about portraying scenes that required intense emotion, given his prior experiences in similarly dramatic roles. However, as he delved into the script and envisioned his character, Ju-won, he recognized the sincerity and depth of the narrative, ultimately regarding it as one of his most meaningful roles.
"Moving" is adapted from Kang Full’s webtoon of the same name, with Kang contributing to the script alongside director Park In-jee.
