NCSoft has officially launched the PC version of "Marvel’s Spider-Man 2" on its gaming platform, PURPLE, marking a significant expansion of the game’s accessibility for Korean players.
Developed by Insomniac Games in collaboration with Marvel, "Marvel’s Spider-Man 2" is the latest installment in the acclaimed franchise. The game, originally released as a PlayStation 5 exclusive on October 20, 2023, became available for PC on January 31, 2025, with optimization handled by Nixxes Software.
One of the standout features of "Marvel’s Spider-Man 2" is its vastly expanded open-world map, which is nearly twice the size of its predecessor. The game introduces Web Wings, a new traversal mechanic that enhances the fluidity of web-swinging, allowing players to experience the thrill of exploring New York City more dynamically.
Combat mechanics have also seen significant improvements. The game features an enhanced combo system that integrates both traditional Spider-Gadgets and the Symbiote powers introduced in this installment.
