The Paris Photo 2025 program is set to deliver an extensive showcase of contemporary photography, featuring more than 130 galleries from around the world alongside approximately 40 publishing houses. The prestigious photography fair will also spotlight emerging talent through its dedicated Emerging Artists section, which features 20 participants from various international art schools and institutions.

A key highlight of this year's program is the "Elles × Paris Photo" exhibition, curated by Devrim Bayar, senior curator at KANAL – Centre Pompidou. This special exhibition focuses exclusively on the work of women photographers, continuing a partnership with the Ministry of Culture that began in 2018. The program has achieved remarkable success in promoting gender equality within the photography world, increasing the representation of women artists at the fair from 20 percent to 39 percent over the past several years.

Visitors will have the opportunity to explore "The Collection Discover The Last Photo," marking the first European presentation of the Estrellita B. Brodsky Collection, which is dedicated to Latin American art. This comprehensive exhibition features more than 60 works spanning from the 1940s to the present day, displayed in dialogue with international figures in the Southeast gallery of the Grand Palais. The exhibition is curated by José Esparza Chong Cuy and Marie Perennès, offering a unique perspective on Latin American photographic traditions and contemporary practices.

The fair's educational component includes "Conversations & Book Talks," featuring one-hour discussions about photography with prominent figures from the art world. Additionally, the Book Talk program, developed in collaboration with Printed Matter, is specifically dedicated to photobooks and their creators. Each afternoon session consists of a round table discussion followed by three 30-minute presentations, providing attendees with in-depth insights into photographic publishing and artistic processes.

The Paris Photo-Aperture Book Award ceremony will take place on November 14 at 3:00 pm at the Balcon de l'Horloge. Since 2012, this award has celebrated and recognized the essential role of books in the distribution and evolution of photography across three categories: First Photo Book, Photo Book of the Year, and Photographic Catalogue of the Year. The award continues to be one of the most prestigious recognitions in photographic publishing.

Educational initiatives include the International College of Photography's LE LABO booth, which presents a life-size model of a photographic laboratory. Visitors can follow the complete process involved in creating analog photographic prints, gaining valuable understanding of the origins and techniques behind many classic and experimental works displayed throughout the exhibition. Professional photographers and printers will be available on-site to explain various techniques and provide encouragement for visitors' own photographic projects.

The "Carte Blanche for Students" program will showcase projects from four winners of the 2026 award: Viktoriia Tymonova, Tom Lyon, Kim-Camille Kreuz, and Mirielle Rohr. These students were selected from over 100 art schools across Europe through a collaborative project involving Paris Photo, SNCF Gares et Connexions, and the Picto Foundation. The program demonstrates the fair's commitment to nurturing the next generation of photographic talent.

More than 400 artists will participate in book signing sessions throughout the duration of Paris Photo 2025, providing attendees with unique opportunities to meet their favorite photographers and acquire signed copies of published works. This extensive program of artist interactions represents one of the largest gatherings of international photography talent in a single venue, making Paris Photo 2025 an unmissable event for photography enthusiasts, collectors, and industry professionals alike.
