The Tourism and City Marketing Office in Barsinghausen is now hosting a new exhibition featuring the work of the local Barsinghausen Photography Group. Under the theme of autumn, group members are presenting their most beautiful captures celebrating the colorful season.
"We are very pleased to be able to present our visitors with another diverse exhibition," said the tourist information team. "The works show how creative and vibrant Barsinghausen and its art scene are." The displayed photographs come from various members of the Barsinghausen Photography Group, which regularly organizes collaborative projects and exhibitions throughout the year.
Horst-Werner Neugebauer, a member of the photography group, emphasized the special appeal of printed photographs over digital displays. "I have to keep noting that it's worth looking at photos in print as well – or especially in print," Neugebauer explained. "The impression of such an image is usually different from viewing it on a display, especially when it's just smartphones. But even compared to larger screens, the effect is more beautiful – therefore it's worth viewing images printed and in exhibitions."
The photography exhibition is complemented by expressive paintings from artist Andrea Wildhagen, which are displayed on a separate wall. Her artwork brings additional color accents to the space and showcases views of the Deister mountain range. "I am very pleased that my pictures are allowed to hang here in the Barsinghausen tourist information office," Wildhagen said. "It's wonderful to know that they will be seen here by many people who visit our city."
The exhibition can be viewed during the regular opening hours of the Barsinghausen Tourist Information Office, and admission is completely free. All interested visitors are warmly invited to stop by, enjoy the autumn atmosphere captured in both the photographs and paintings, and perhaps discover new perspectives on the season for themselves.
