After a 20-month hiatus, K-pop girl group Everglow is making an eagerly-awaited return to the music scene this August. Yue Hua Entertainment revealed on Wednesday that the group is diligently working on their new album, which is slated for release on August 18, sparking excitement among fans.
To announce their highly-anticipated comeback, Everglow unveiled a captivating teaser poster on their official social media account. The poster showcases each member striking a pose behind a transparent veil, exuding an air of mystery and anticipation for the upcoming release.
This new album marks the end of Everglow's extended break since the launch of their third mini-album, "Return of the Girl," in December 2021. Known for their innovative concepts, the group introduced the unique concept of "galaxy pirates" through the title track "Pirate" in their third EP, captivating audiences worldwide.
With a string of hit singles such as "Adios," "Dun Dun," "La Di Da," and "Bon Bon Chocolat," Everglow has garnered global popularity, with each music video amassing over 100 million views on YouTube.
Earlier this year, the talented group participated in the Sound Check Festival, a six-hour K-pop music extravaganza held at Bangkok's Thunder Dome Stadium, further solidifying their position as a captivating force in the global music scene.
Formed by Yuehua Entertainment, Everglow is comprised of six talented members: Yiren, Aisha, Si-hyeon, Mia, Onda, and E:U. This year marks the group's remarkable four-year anniversary since their debut on March 18, 2019, with their single album "Arrival of Everglow."
