A special exhibition will be held at Incheon International Airport.
Kiaf Seoul and Frieze Seoul are around the corner.
Early bird tickets for Kiaf Seoul and Frieze Seoul will be released on August 1.
Kiaf Seoul will run alongside Frieze, so ticket buyers will be able to access both fairs.
Visitors can choose between two types of tickets; Preview or General Admission.
Preview ticket holders can enter throughout the whole week of Kiaf and Frieze, except on September 2, which is for only VIP and Press. Freize, however, will run until September 5. The price for the preview ticket is $154, and you can get an early bird discount for $123.
General Admission is also able to access both fairs, but it is for a single day entry with re-entry on the same day during the week of fairs. The price for the general admission ticket is $55, and you can get an early bird discount for $45.
Tickets for Kiaf Plus, which will be available for the first time this year, you should book separately. This exhibition will take place at the SETEC (Seoul Trade Exhibition & Convention).
The admission fee increased double compared from last year. However, it seems it’s not a big deal to visitors who are waiting for both Kiaf and Frieze.
“From this year printed tickets will be replaced by eTicket. Visitors can access their ticket on a website,” Kiaf Seoul said. "The content was set after consultation between Kiaf and Frieze, including entry policy," Kiaf added.
Kiaf and Incheon International Airport Corporation will run a special exhibition at the transportation center of Incheon Airport Terminal 1. 20 galleries selected by Kiaf committee will exhibit artworks through this special exhibition. The exhibition will run from August 22 to September 25. 60 artworks, including contemporary artworks, media arts and NFT will be exhibited at Incheon International Airport.
“This exhibition will be the first location in Korea where you can visit and encounter Kiaf and Frieze. I hope it offers an opportunity for travelers who come to the airport from home and abroad to appreciate Korea’s contemporary art,” said the Galleries Association of Korea.
