Arario Gallery, one of Asia's leading galleries, is participating in Kiaf SEOUL and Frieze SEOUL.
Since opening in 1989, Arario Gallery currently runs three spaces in Korea and China. In particular, the gallery leads the art market by incubating young artists who have been underrepresented and introducing Korean and international art.
Arario Gallery is introducing the unique identity of Arario Gallery through painting, photography, and sculpture to a diverse group of collectors in this art fair.
In the Kiaf SEOUL booth of Arario Gallery, B 20, visitors are able to have an opportunity to experience a range of works by various artists represented by Arario Gallery including Asian artists born in the 70s and 80s, such as Kohei NAWA and Eko NUGROHO, and established Korean artists who are active internationally, such as CHOI Byungso and LEE Dongwook.

At the entrance of the booth, there is "AIR OF DARKNESS" by RYU In, representative genius sculptor of Korea. RYU’s fundamental anxiety, indignation and complex expressed through distortions or transformations of realistically represented human bodies and theatrical props. People who visit booth B20 can appreciate his creative work.
On the other side of the Arario Gallery booth, you can enjoy paintings of anonymous figures by Indonesian representative artist Eko NUGROHO, "Like A Hill So It Becomes Shady" and "We Care as Much as You Pay" side by side. Eko NUGROHO poured those experiences caused by the aftereffect of multiple civil revolutions into his work with a unique sense of humor and dazzling color and image. Eko has held solo exhibitions at the Asia Society, New York, USA, The Art Gallery of New South Wales, Sydney, Australia, and Musée d'Art Moderne de Paris, France.

Artist NOH Sangho collects the images browsing the Internet and social media daily and reconstructs the fragments selected from an array of images onto carbon paper. NOH is a natural born storyteller, sincere practitioner and bold experimenter. You can see various stories in his works displayed in the booth of Arario Gallery.

Additionally, Uji Handoko Eko Saputro's satirical paintings, PARK Kiwon's paintings, artworks of CHOI Byungso who is Korea’s first experimental artists etc., have been exhibiting in this booth.
This exhibition can be viewed until the 6th when Kiaf SEOUL ends, and visitors to Frieze SEOUL can see other exhibitions of the Arario Gallery at boot A22.
