Seoul, June 7 (SayArt)- Renowned Korean Painter, Hong Il-hwa, recognized for his work between France and Korea, is unveiling is solo exhibition titled "The Forest" at the Pium Art Museum in Gangwon-do, Korea. The exhibition runs to February 27, 2024.

"The Forest" explores the inherent dignity of all life forms, using thorn bushes as a metaphor. Hong presents the argument that every life possesses intrinsic value, and each being has a dignified reason for its existence.
But the exhibition is more than just a visual experience; it challenges common perspectives on dichotomy and coexistence. Through his work, Hong encourages visitors to see beyond the typical binary classifications that lead to conflict, and instead, recognize the elements of correspondence and coexistence evident in nature.

He hopes that visitors will learn more about these often-overlooked aspects of coexistence that are obscured by our traditional binary worldview.
"The Forest" invites visitors to appreciate not only the beauty of nature as presented by Hong Il-hwa, but also to engage in an important discussion about the value of life and the potential for unity in a world often characterized by division and conflict.
