TOP Media, the agency representing popular boy band Teen Top, made an official announcement on Wednesday, revealing that the group will be returning as a quartet with a highly anticipated album set to release on July 4. Titled "Teen Top [4SHO]," this forthcoming album marks their first new release in three years since the 2020 special album "To You 2020," and serves as the first album following members Chunji and Ricky's completion of mandatory military service.

In a press release, the agency described "'Teen Top [4SHO]'" as a resounding declaration of Teen Top's unwavering commitment to their loyal fanbase. It signifies a clear and heartfelt promise from the boy band to their adoring Angel fandom, expressing gratitude and assuring them of their unchanging dedication.

The upcoming album is set to feature a re-recorded version of Teen Top's beloved 2013 hit track "Missing You." The selection was made through the Teen Top Re-cording Project, where fans had the opportunity to choose their favorite song to be included in the album, adding an extra layer of fan interaction and anticipation to the release.

In addition to their album comeback, Teen Top will grace the stage with their electrifying presence at the "2023 Teen Top we gonna rock it drop it top it hey don't stop it pop it Live" concert. This two-day event, taking place on July 15 and 16 at the Nodeul Island Livehouse in central Seoul's vibrant Yongsan District, draws inspiration from the group's 2013 hit dance track "Rocking." Fans can expect a sensational performance filled with energy and excitement.

However, it should be noted that former member C.A.P, whose real name is Bang min-su, recently departed from the boy band shortly after their comeback announcement in May. He found himself embroiled in controversy after confessing in a livestream that he was contemplating not participating in the comeback. C.A.P officially left both the group and the agency on May 11. As of now, Teen Top consists of four dedicated members: Chunji, Niel, Ricky, and Changjo, who continue to forge ahead with their musical endeavors.

Furthermore, Niel, one of Teen Top's talented members, will be hosting "Niel's Shahan Night" on June 23. This solo concert-talk show series, which Niel plans to hold regularly, will feature various guest artists who will grace the stage alongside him, ensuring an unforgettable experience for fans.
