K-pop sensation INFINITE is back with a bang, delighting fans with their highly anticipated seventh mini-album, "13egin." This marks the sextet's first musical endeavor in five years and represents a significant milestone as it is also their maiden release under their self-established label, INFINITE Company, founded in January this year by members Sungkyu, Dongwoo, Woohyun, Sungyeol, L, and Sungjong.

During a press conference at a hotel in Seoul's Seocho District, INFINITE Company CEO Sungkyu reflected on the challenges the group faced while creating the much-awaited EP. The 13-year musical journey of INFINITE presented an exciting opportunity for the members to take creative control of their project, a task that proved both rewarding and demanding. Delving into approximately 100 songs, the members painstakingly selected the tracks that would feature on "13egin," pouring their hearts into each step of the album's production.

With this year marking INFINITE's 13th debut anniversary, the group thoughtfully titled their EP "13egin," ingeniously replacing the letter "B" with the number "13" to symbolize their remarkable journey in the K-pop industry. The lead single "New Emotions" showcases the group's vocal prowess through a groovy and catchy tune, intertwining their distinct voices to create a unique harmony.

Speaking about the lead track, Sungjong shared his excitement for presenting something fresh and distinctive, highlighting the group's commitment to exploring new musical territories while preserving their signature style. Sungkyu emphasized the importance of challenging themselves with a fresh approach, ensuring that "New Emotions" captivated listeners with its unique charm.

While the group pursues novelty, Woohyun reassured fans that tracks like "Time Difference" would evoke nostalgic memories, reminiscent of INFINITE's classic style.

The release of "13egin" is complemented by the group's forthcoming concerts in Seoul and Yokohama, affirming their enduring popularity and connection with fans. With sold-out shows in Seoul's KSPO Dome at Olympic Park, which can accommodate up to 15,000 people, the members expressed their gratitude for the unwavering support despite the hiatus and challenges posed by the COVID-19 pandemic.

Having been on hiatus due to the members' military service commitments, INFINITE's triumphant return to the stage marks a thrilling reunion for both the group and their devoted followers. L, reminiscing on fond memories at the KSPO Dome during fan events and world tours, asserted it was the perfect venue for their long-awaited reunion.

As INFINITE launches into this new chapter, they vow to actively engage with fans, promising regular performances and the possibility of more frequent album releases in the future. With their dedication to their craft and the unwavering support of their global fanbase, INFINITE looks forward to captivating audiences with their artistic endeavors for years to come.
