Jungkook of BTS secured victory in the "Male Artist" category at the People's Choice Awards, marking the first time an Asian artist has achieved this feat, as confirmed by the organizer on Monday.

Jungkook, who released his debut solo studio album "Golden" in November 2023, is currently fulfilling his mandatory military service, in accordance with South Korean law requiring all able-bodied men to serve for a minimum of 18 months.
Additionally, K-pop boy band Stray Kids emerged victorious in the Group/Duo category at the People's Choice Awards.
Established in 1975, the People's Choice Awards honor outstanding artists and entertainers across various fields, including movies, television, and music. Winners are determined through public and fan voting.
