Twice Marks Return with New EP "With YOU-th" After Year-Long Hiatus

In a significant return to the K-pop scene, Twice, the popular girl group, released their latest EP, "With YOU-th," on Friday, marking their first full-unit comeback in Korea in a year.

The album, comprising six tracks and led by the single "One Spark," serves as a platform for Twice to delve into themes of youth, love, and friendship, according to statements from the group members. Expressing gratitude to their dedicated fan base, known as "Once," the members aimed to create a meaningful experience for their supporters.

Speaking on the album's significance, Chaeyoung emphasized the group's concerted effort, acknowledging the anticipation of their fans and expressing a desire to share a memorable experience with them.

Twice's members highlighted the collaborative nature of the album, with Jihyo discussing the exploration of their relationships, mutual support, and love for each other. The interconnected choreography of "One Spark" was noted, with Sana pointing out scenes in the music video that showcased the natural closeness among the group members.

Noteworthy is the active participation of some members in the songwriting process, with Jeongyeon contributing the lyrics for "Bloom," a track depicting the growth process of a flower. Dahyeon penned the lyrics for "You Get Me," conveying a message of unity, while Chaeyoung added her touch to the trendy "Rush" with Jersey club beats.

Looking ahead, Twice announced plans for standalone concerts at Nissan Stadium in Yokohama, Japan, scheduled for July. The upcoming event at the renowned multipurpose stadium follows in the footsteps of TVXQ, making Twice the second K-pop act to perform at Nissan Stadium.
