"Knight Flower" is set in the Joseon Dynasty and revolves around a forbidden love between Yeo-hwa, played by Lee Ha-nee, and government officer Soo-ho, portrayed by Lee Jong-won. The drama's unique romantic tension, characterized by minimal physical contact, contributed to its popularity.

Lee Jong-won, who debuted as a model in 2018 before entering acting, is known for his role in the 2022 drama series "The Golden Spoon," where he received the Best New Actor award at the MBC Drama Awards.
