Internationally acclaimed singer Psy set the stage ablaze with his electrifying "Summer Swag" concert series, captivating audiences with music, water, and an unexpected announcement. The first performances of his national tour were held on Friday and Saturday at the Jamsil Olympic Main Stadium in southern Seoul.

Now in its seventh season, the "Summer Swag" concert series promises vibrant and lively performances by Psy, accompanied by refreshing water sprays to combat the summer heat.

"This is the first time in four years for 'Summer Swag' to be held without masks," Psy shared with excitement on Friday. "My heart tingles every time I hear you shout."

Psy treated the crowd to an array of his signature dance tracks, including "That That" (2022) featuring BTS's Suga, "New Face" (2017), "I Luv It" (2017), "Gangnam Style" (2012), and "Champion" (2014). Adding to the star-studded lineup, singers Jessi and Hwasa made special appearances as guests.

In an unexpected twist, Hwasa, the singer and rapper from the popular girl group Mamamoo, announced her exclusive contract signing with Psy's agency, P Nation, right on the stage. Psy laid out the papers, and Hwasa eagerly signed them, followed by an embrace between the two.

"Hi, I'm Hwasa, who just became a singer at P Nation," Hwasa enthusiastically announced to the thrilled crowd. "That was the real deal just now. We only finished reviewing the papers today."

The "Summer Swag" tour is set to continue its energetic journey, with upcoming performances in various cities across South Korea. The tour will visit Wonju, Gangwon on July 8; Yeosu, South Jeolla, on July 15; Suwon, Gyeonggi, on July 22 and 23; Boryeong, South Chungcheong, on July 29; Iksan, North Jeolla, on Aug. 5; Incheon on Aug. 12; Daegu on Aug. 19 and 20; and culminate in Busan with performances on Aug. 26 and 27.
